Matt is an established investment promotion professional with over 20 years’ experience at an international, national and regional level in the UK. He is currently Deputy Director for Markets and Regions in the Department for Business and Trade’s Investment Directorate. Matt leads a team, spread across the UK, that works directly with the UKs Regions and Nations to link together DBT’s investment promotion and investor support work together with our partners to maximise impacts at a local level. Prior to IST Matt was a director in EY’s Investment Services Team and before that developed, ran the investment promotion function in the West of England and was investment lead for London across the East Coast of North America.
