During more than 20 years with Whitbread, Derek has played a central role in a period of sustained expansion, helping to add over 20,000 Premier Inn and hub bedrooms across the UK.

His team is now focused on securing the next generation of hotel locations as Whitbread continues to grow its market leading hospitality brands and recycle capital from its national development pipeline.
